When children aren't around, Mike and I turn into old fuddy duddy's. For July 4th, instead of nighttime fireworks, we decided to go daytime fishin'! Mike took me river fishing on the Weber River for the first time and I absolutely loved it!
Beautiful isn't it!
We got a couple bites, but no catches. I was just having fun casting and reeling.....
that is until my hip began to hurt, I got hot, burnt, hungry, and moody. Par for the course. :)

Looks like fun, Kandice, and it definitely looks like Utah on the river.
We actually stayed up late and watched the town fireworks show. It was a really great show, the best I've ever seen live, but the kids spent most of the time covering their eyes and ears. Funny kids!
I am so not surprised you got grumpy but it looks like you two old farts had a good time
